Some health benefits of circumcision

While some people just don't like the cosmetic look of a phallus with foreskin and want to be circumcised, there may be some health benefits even for these men.  Here are some of the health benefits:

  • Decreased risk of acquiring a sexually transmitted infection, including HIV.
  • Decreased risk of spreading a transmitted infection, including HIV.
  • Decreased risk of urinary tract infection.
  • Decreased risk of inflammatory disorders of penis, like phimosis and paraphimosis.
  • Decreased risk of penile cancer and pre-canerous lesions.
Circumcision is a safe and easy procedure to perform and can even be performed in an office or clinic setting inexpensively.  The procedure itself carries with it very few long term risks.

Thanks,
