Testosterone transference

Testosterone gels have a risk of transference; having the medicine rub off from the patient to an unsuspecting person, most typically the patients wife or children. Transference of testosterone can cause the recipient to receive a dose of testosterone with resultant consequences of virilization. To avoid transference, you must follow the manufacturers package insert.
