The image above is a testicular biopsy specimen from a patient referred to me with infertility. He had no sperm in his ejaculate samples.
After a biopsy, I diagnosed him with a treatable and reversible condition, sperm ductal blockage, AKA obstructive azoospermia. You can see in image one and two mature sperm in the tubules and in the lumen.
